YBNL record label artist, Adekunle Gold has decided to postpone his debut album release, citing the forthcoming Ramadan period as the reason for the delay.

He revealed this in a Now O’ clock radio podcast with show host Wole that it made more sense to him to release his album when his Muslim fans are at liberty to listen to music.

Adekunle Gold won the heart of many with his chart topping singles like Sade, Pick up and Orente.

He said “I am pushing it forward a bit because of Ramadan. It was supposed to drop for June 1st before but apparently, it occurred to me that my Muslim friends do not listen to music during Ramadan, so it ,makes sense to push it further because of them as well. So by God’s grace in July after Ramadan I will release it and all of us can enjoy it together”

According to the Orente crooner, the album is 80% done. He however did not let any names of guest appearances.
